However, it is also possible that one may not be experiencing a full blown attack. What you may be experiencing is just a slight touch of anxiety which a lot of people experience in social situations when they are nervous.

Here, I will focus on the signs and symptoms of panic attacks I hope you find the information interesting and reassuring.

There are many people in the adult stage of life that have suffered from panic or anxiety attacks. There are people that may have stress, so much so, that they are incapable of functioning in everyday life. People who are having panic attack on a regular basis will experience few symptoms like trembling, problems breathing, dizziness, and pains in stomach. There are people who go to the emergency room and they think they are having heart attack. All these symptoms are scary however, rest assured these are not life threatening. In order to help yourself and gain control over panic attacks you have to recognize what the triggers are of panic attacks. Armed with this information, if you happen to have some symptoms, you will know how to handle the problem.

There are relaxation methods which can use help you stay focused. One of those methods that is believed to help you feel relaxed is yoga. When a panic attack begins, you may react out of sorts and out of reality. So by practicing breathing techniques you will begin to stay calm as well as focus and eventually stop the attack.
Diet pills, soda, coffee, tea, and intake of caffeine require being avoided. Panic attacks are mostly triggered from the central nervous system and caffeine, unfortunately, stimulates that. It is also suggested that one exercise on a regular basis. Exercising can release endorphins into the blood stream. Endorphins are the hormones, which help an individual obtain a natural euphoric feeling. Runners often refer to this as a “runners high.” Consistent fitness work out may help you maintain focus, and keep you relaxed.

Lots of people feel as though they are dying whenever they experience a panic attack. When a person reaches this stage of panic attacks, it is suggested that the individual gain treatment as soon as possible. If not treated, the attacks can get more intense and an actual heart attack can occur.
Another sign and symptom of a panic attack is harsh dizziness or feeling light headed. When this occurs, it is very important to sit and take a deep breath so one will not hurt oneself.
