Are you looking for medication to cure your social anxiety disorder? and what you have found all this while? I bet what you have found are only prescriptions to take drugs and medication to “cure” your symptoms.
Let me tell you this, there is NO social anxiety medication which can address the root cause of your symptoms in order to cure it fully. Yes, some medication can relief some of the symptoms, however, this effect is very minimal and temporary, not a permanent treatment.
What all drugs can do is sedate the mind in order to temporarily suppress some anxiety symptoms, they do not at any time offer a curative treatment.
Drug medications can assist to ‘knock the edge off’ the level of high anxiety symptoms experienced but if you depend wholeheartedly on these drugs to cure your social anxiety disorder or to remove the underlying anxiety, you are making a huge error.
As an anxiety treatment, drugs cannot ever reach the location of the brain who is responsible for the development of anxiety attacks and accurately pin-point which neural pathways to ‘prune’ in order to stop social anxiety disorder symptoms, it’s just impossible.
I don’t want to be bias or too simplistic and state that there are not even one occasion where these drugs are useful. I am well aware and do know that in some cases they can help to provide a short period of relief but on the whole, drugs and medications are NOT the answer for social anxiety disorder treatment, ultimately you have to stop taking them!
Some people may be lucky to not having experienced none or few of the awful side effects, but many others that I knew telling me desperately, saying how worse they have got into after taking anxiety disorder medication.
The usage of drugs and medication in social anxiety sufferers are often in a continual basis. Unfortunately in reality and in most cases, these drugs that they consumed only work by distorting the symptoms of the anxiety disorder. At the same time these medications introduced new symptoms by way of side effects. So in conclusion these drugs can actually make the condition worse and prevent actual recovery.
