It was playing Dance of the Swans until the distortions were seen. The music that happened when his face got all weird looking was just a couple generic suspense accents that I found in iMovie!

Oh this is fabulous!! Panic and Generalized anxiety have ripped me to shreds over years. This is a great approach… almost like reverse psychology to use panic attack simulation. I think I will make a habit of doing this or something very similar daily. Just to remind me of the true nature of panic. Thanks much for the post.

Ah, yes! Psychology was my minor! That sounds pretty familiar!

I’m a Psychology student and even though this video is a bit unorthodox, its methodology is unequivocally correct from a psychotherapeutic point of view. It’s called cogntive behavior therapy. The only way to end panic attacks is to ask the patient to mimic its most common symptoms as much as possible, until the patient is no longer afraid of the physical symptoms brought on by the attacks. Repetition for a period of 3-4 weeks or longer is the key.
